Job Description Summary

Are you looking to add strategic value and be a key agent of change within the fast-paced and dynamic biotechnology sector? If you’re a highly motivated and proactive project manager, then you may be the person we’re looking for!

As a Project Manager within the Manufacturing team at STEMCELL Technologies, you will work with high visibility to build relationships and drive value to the business. Working closely with external and internal stakeholders, you’ll use your leadership skills within cross-functional teams to complete projects with a particular focus on late stage product development, validation, and commercialization.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall project delivery through all stages from initiation to closeout, by defining project objectives, creating project plans and ensuring approved project scope is delivered on time and within budget
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, senior management, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear priorities, and effective communication up/down/across
  • Provide project leadership to subject matter experts from across the organization, revising project strategies and adjusting resource allocation when circumstances change
  • Identify and analyze project risks, and lead project team members to develop risk control strategies, balancing timelines and resources
  • Present project updates to Senior Leadership and Executive teams

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant project management experience
  • Project Management Program (PMP) certification, GMP and/or Product Development experience would be an asset
  • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals
  • Experience communicating and influencing others within a complex interdisciplinary environment
  • Strong computer literacy experience with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management and database applications

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:

$81,700.00 - $122,500.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
