Role: Junior Business Analyst

Status: Fixed Term - 6-months

Department: Builder Division

Division: Enercare Home Services

Location: Markham - 4 days in office

Position Overview:
As a Junior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting business market operations through data-driven analysis and research. You will be responsible for gathering, validating, and maintaining data to assist in decision-making processes while developing essential analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Research & Data Management:
  • Conduct thorough research on business processes, market trends, and operational efficiencies.
  • Retrieve, review, and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform data searches using various sources and tools.
  • Verify data by cross-referencing with source documents.
  • Enter validated data into appropriate databases with efficiency and precision.
  • Monitor existing datasets to ensure accuracy, performing updates when required.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare reports summarizing key findings and insights.
  • Organize and file digital documents systematically for easy retrieval.
  • Maintain timely turnaround for all data entry tasks.
  • Collaboration & Problem-Solving:
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Receive and execute tasks based on verbal and written direction.
  • Apply critical thinking to identify problems and propose solutions.
  • Communicate findings effectively to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skillsets

  • Technical & Analytical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications for efficient workflow management.
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills to ensure information integrity.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail for error-free data management.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for effective task execution.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a capacity for analytical thinking.
