The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting for the firm and selected portfolio companies. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing cash flow, and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. The role will also support investment analysis, assist with portfolio performance tracking, and collaborate with partners on financial due diligence. The Finance Manager will help maintain internal controls, support compliance with relevant regulations, and propose process improvements to enhance financial efficiency. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong financial planning and analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling. Candidates should possess expertise in accounting and reporting, including financial statement preparation, reconciliation, and adherence to GAAP or similar standards. Candidates should possess skills in investment and portfolio analysis, such as evaluating performance metrics, cash flow, and return on investment. Candidates should possess proficiency with financial tools and systems, including spreadsheets, financial software, and data visualization tools. Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Candidates should possess the ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, or high-growth startups is beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
