Of course, you’re welcome to apply for jobs at ICBC whether or not you join a talent community.   We look forward to hearing from you!  MD Account Services is seeking a Manager, MD Account Services to oversee key Repair, Glass, and Towing suppliers as the primary point of contact, drive program adoption and performance, lead a team MD Account Representatives, and act as an escalation point for high-risk or recurring issues.   Key Accountabilities  

Effectively manage relationships with key suppliers as the primary point of contact Deliver consistent relationship-based management across your portfolio Oversee performance plans and strategies to improve Repair Facility performance Support and lead a team of MD Account Representatives Review and approve performance actions and sanctions as needed Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk supplier and customer issues Monitor Repair Facility performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement Recommend and support training and development to enhance Repair Facility performance Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and performance tracking Communicate goals, priorities, and updates to the team Participate in projects and initiatives to support business objectives Support Supplier Program Administration ensuring supplier compliance

  Position Requirements  

Minimum 2 years of team leadership experience within ICBC Knowledge of principles, theories, and practices of negotiation and effective communication Knowledge of trends in the Repair Facility and insurance industries, particularly related to competition Knowledge of practices, methods, and techniques within the Repair Facility and insurance sectors Knowledge of corporate, divisional, and departmental business functions, strategies, and programs Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines, and the current legislative environment Must meet the provincially legislated requirements of the Criminal Records Review Act (CRRA) Valid BC Driver’s License Ability to travel regularly to repair, glass, and towing/storage facilities.   Continue your career with us: At ICBC, it’s our job to make sure the car insurance system works for all British Columbians, today and in the future. Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
