UBC Student Health Service , an integral part of North America’s largest higher education student wellness portfolio (UBC Student Health and Wellbeing), is expanding its team. Operating from two Vancouver on-campus locations, with a third set to open in early 2026, this Defined Scope B family practice provides a collaborative and dynamic healthcare setting. The team is supported by 13 Medical Office Assistants (MOAs), two clinic administrators, and a diverse clinical staff, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and access to fee-for-service specialists in psychiatry, dermatology, internal medicine, and gynecology.
The clinic features 14 exam rooms, dedicated office space, a kitchen, and two meeting rooms. Care is delivered through both virtual and in-person appointments, with options for remote work. Services are exclusively for registered UBC students, primarily serving a young adult population.
Parking and Transportation: Pay parking available on campus. Options for biking and public transit.
Clinic Hours: Throughout the school year, Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays: 8am – 4pm, Wednesdays: 8am – 8pm, Thursdays: 9am – 4pm; a limited Saturday clinic is open 8am – 4pm during the academic year and closed during the summer semester.
Additional Resources: On-site access to labs and x-ray at UBC Hospital. Mental health support for students is available through UBC Counselling Services, including individual counselling and group therapy referrals.

Vancouver Division of Family Practice (VDoFP) is a not-for-profit organization funded mainly by government and institutional stakeholders including BC’s Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC. Working in partnership with Health Authorities, VDoFP’s mission is to improve the access and quality of the primary care system in Vancouver for the benefit of healthcare providers and patients.
