Job Profile:

As a member of the Security team, you will be responsible for access control into the building, interior and exterior patrols in all weather conditions, contractor escorts with clients or contractors, monitoring security cameras and alarm systems and x-ray scanner operations.
Duties:
- Ability to respond to localized alarms as indicated by monitoring station
- Proficient in the use of computers and VMS systems
- Internal and external patrols with possibility of safe walks
- Check building for vandalism, theft and safety-related issues
- Logging of incoming and outgoing guests
- Ability to follow Post Orders and fill out reports
- Report issues to the proper authorities (ISO/Police)
Qualifications:
- Valid Security guard license is required.
- Must be able to acquire a Reliability security clearance (5+ years living in Canada)
- Proficiency in written and oral communication
- Customer service skills required in dealing with customers.
- Ability to multi-task and complete work within deadlines
- Class 5 Driver’s License required (no learner’s permit) and provide clean driver’s abstract.
- Good knowledge of the city and surrounding areas.
