About the role
CGI is looking for a software architect with Guidewire experience to join a project team at one of our clients in the insurance sector.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Participate in the design of solutions on the Guidewire platform (Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter, Guidewire Contact Manager);
- Analyze situations and support stakeholders in decision-making;
- Identify risks and potential challenges associated with proposed solutions;
- Evaluate the functionalities of the Guidewire Cloud platform;
- Assess its capabilities against the needs of the business;
- Contribute to defining best practices and architecture standards in Guidewire;
- Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with established guidelines;
- Produce architectures and ensure their technical documentation;
- Align the evolution of architectures in collaboration with architecture boards;
- Collaborate with product, business, and infrastructure teams to complete the project;
- Provide technical and methodological guidance for team members;
- Serve as a reference for any request regarding direction, development, standards and best practices, management tool needs, or support.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, including 6 years in a similar role;

Have a good mastery of Guidewire Cloud products, particularly PolicyCenter, ClaimsCenter, and/or BillingCenter;

Important asset: Possess the GW ACE (Mammoth) certification;

Excellent understanding of software architectures and API integrations;
-
Demonstrate good leadership and excellent communication skills;

Ability to manage complex projects (development, infrastructure, security);

Ability to resolve complex problems.
