CGI is looking for a software architect with Guidewire experience to join a project team at one of our clients in the insurance sector.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Participate in the design of solutions on the Guidewire platform (Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter, Guidewire Contact Manager);
• Analyze situations and support stakeholders in decision-making;
• Identify risks and potential challenges associated with proposed solutions;
• Evaluate the functionalities of the Guidewire Cloud platform;
• Assess its capabilities against the needs of the business;
• Contribute to defining best practices and architecture standards in Guidewire;
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with established guidelines;
• Produce architectures and ensure their technical documentation;
• Align the evolution of architectures in collaboration with architecture boards;
• Collaborate with product, business, and infrastructure teams to complete the project;
• Provide technical and methodological guidance for team members;
• Serve as a reference for any request regarding direction, development, standards and best practices, management tool needs, or support.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, including 6 years in a similar role;

• Have a good mastery of Guidewire Cloud products, particularly PolicyCenter, ClaimsCenter, and/or BillingCenter;

• Important asset: Possess the GW ACE (Mammoth) certification;

• Excellent understanding of software architectures and API integrations;

• Demonstrate good leadership and excellent communication skills;

• Ability to manage complex projects (development, infrastructure, security);

• Ability to resolve complex problems.
