What is the opportunity?
The Loan Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the loan processing and servicing teams. This role involves managing workflows, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills, along with in-depth knowledge of loan operations and corporate lending.
What will you do?
- Lead, mentor, and manage the loan operations team to ensure efficient and accurate loan processing, servicing, and documentation.
- Oversee the end-to-end loan operations process, ensuring seamless customer experiences and operational accuracy.
- Develop, implement, and improve policies and procedures to streamline workflows and optimize productivity.
- Ensure timely loan disbursements, payments, and reporting in alignment with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal IT departments to address challenges and enhance the efficiency of loan activities.
- Maintain and analyze key performance metrics to ensure the department meets organizational goals and deadlines.
- Resolve complex issues that arise in loan processing, servicing, or system functionality.
- Lead audits and examinations related to loan operations, facilitating the preparation of required documentation and maintaining records.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technology advancements to improve processing standards and service delivery.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have’s
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Mathematics, or any quantitative degrees
- 3+ years working experience in Corporate Lending Industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate goals, offer feedback, and foster collaboration
- Strong leadership skills with a clear ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team
- Knowledge of loan products
Nice-to-have’s
- Knowledge of ACBS, LoanIQ
- Knowledge of loan processing and payment methods
- Familiar with modern technologies in loan processing industry
