About the role
What are we looking for? We are seeking a motivated Engineering Co-op to join our Quality team and support our machining production operations. This role offers hands-on experience in quality assurance, process improvement, and data analysis within a manufacturing environment.
Co-op Term: January 2026 - April 2026
Essential Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze quality data; present findings and prepare detailed reports.
- Update gauging and inspection plans for machining cells.
- Assist with gauge connectivity and integration to quality software systems.
- Support investigations by compiling data and performing statistical analysis to determine root causes of atypical events.
- Assist with internal audits.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and projects.
- Support the non-conformance process through measurement, containment, and verification activities.
- Assist with qualifications and new product introductions by collecting and analyzing relevant data.
Your Profile
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly machining, is an asset.
- Familiarity with manual measurement tools and gauges.
- Experience with Oracle and/or other ERP systems is preferred.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet objectives within established timelines.
- Capable of working independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn about engine component machining and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
