SUMMARY
GolfBC Group is looking for a detail-loving Team Member to join our Vancouver Head Office for a 12-month maternity leave coverage position. You'll be part of our fun, friendly, and fast-paced team that supports around 800 Team Members across our 7 golf courses throughout British Columbia. This role offers flexibility at 32 hours per week and up to 40 hours during peak times; depending on operational needs and what works best for you. This is a busy role for someone who loves administrative work, strives for excellence and wants to provide the best possible customer service.
The Payroll and HR Administrator works with the Payroll Team and Director of People and Culture, to ensure that our engaged and inspiring team gets onboarded efficiently through our HR software and receives their total compensation accurately and on time. Working with a successful and established company, this role gets the opportunity to enrich lives and inspire connections across our teams in Kelowna, Whistler, Victoria and Richmond.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruitment: Support golf course Managers by getting job postings up swiftly.
- Onboarding: Ensure all new and returning seasonal Team Members complete onboarding paperwork in ADP.
- Benefits Administration: Enroll, change, and terminate Team Members in SunLife and My Health Spending Account.
- HRIS: Train to become an expert in the various HR technology systems to help fellow Team Members troubleshoot issues.
- Rewards and Recognition: Help ensure Team Members are acknowledged for their service by creating monthly reports for the golf course Managers, so that they know who to celebrate and when.
- Health and Safety: Update health and safety manuals, and complete WorkSafe reporting for the golf courses.
- Employee Files: Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and Administrator to help ensure we have all the Team Member information necessary for a timely and accurate payroll process.

3-5 years of office administration experience
