Your Contribution:
As a Technician, you will work in collaboration with the Instrumentation team on various construction projects related to Geotechnical Instrumentation and Monitoring, and Condition Surveys.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
- Attend site visits and collect data with total stations and other instruments.
- Support the Project Manager and Field Supervisor with field responsibilities such as instrument installations and maintenance.
- Prepare technical reports
- Participate in preconstruction site visits and field inspections.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
- Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development opportunities.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique
- Has a College Diploma (civil, geotechnical) or other applicable degree in an engineering or technology-based field.
- Has a valid provincial driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Consistently executing prescribed technical procedures, safe work practices and work plans in a safe, efficient manner
- We are looking for technicians with 0-10 years of experience and who has graduated from a Canadian accredited post-secondary school.
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn in the field of construction monitoring
- Ability to work shifts during evenings, nights and weekends when needed.
