We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Supervisor to assist in managing for Chrysalis Services home to provide the highest quality therapy to children and their families by coordinating the day-to-day delivery of the best-personalized support systems necessary. What You Will Do
This leadership role works closely with the Team Lead to ensure consistent youth care, strong documentation practices, and smooth daily operations within the home. The Supervisor models BBI standards on shift and provides guidance and direction to frontline staff while maintaining trauma-informed, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support youth wellbeing (social, emotional, physical, and spiritual)
- Provide leadership and direction to staff while on shift
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely Incident Reports (within 24 hours)
- Audit reports for clarity, accuracy, and professionalism
- Maintain home cleanliness and organization using BBI checklists
- Oversee petty cash, allowances, grocery tracking, and mileage submissions (as delegated)
- Coordinate youth schedules, appointments, visitations, and school communication
- Participate in Emergency After-Hours (on-call) rotation
- Support onboarding and orientation of new staff
- Assist with shift coverage when needed
The Experience, Expertise and Education We Value
- Diploma or Degree in Human Services or related field considered an asset
- Experience in the supervision and administration of staff in a social service environment
- Experience in Nursing, Social Services, Home care, Educational Assistant positions, Early Childhood Education, Support Worker, Personal care aid, Human services support
- Experience working in group-home or Youth Care settings
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and lead by example
- Understanding of trauma-informed and person-centered practice
- Certification in First Aid/CPR
- Mental Health First Aid
- NVCI/Mandt
- ASIST/ASK
- Valid driver's license/Driver's Abstract/Criminal Record Check/Social Development Check/1-million liability required
- Fluency in English is required (oral/written)
- Ability to work with/around pets i.e., cats and dogs is required.
- Schedule flexibility - days, evenings, overnight, weekends

Examples of said services include but are not limited to alternative housing options, peer mentoring, and parental aide services. Like its namesake, Beyond Behavioural Intervention aims to look beyond the behaviors in order to better understand the challenging areas that carry an impact on families and community members. This provides a non-judgemental, trauma-informed lens to simultaneously bridge the gap between service providers and receivers allowing us to maximize not only positive relationships but positive outcomes.
