Job Summary
Our team is looking for a compassionate part‑time (0.8 FTE) palliative care physician to support a 1‑year Parental Leave located in Abbotsford, BC. This position would commence in November 2024. This is an exciting opportunity, where you will work alongside other palliative care physicians and our multidisciplinary team to provide Most Responsible Provider (MRP) coverage in our Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) and Holmberg House; and consultation services to acute care and community‑based patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide MRP coverage in the PCCU and Holmberg House.
- Deliver consultation services to acute care and community‑based patients.
- Participate in integrated, regional, comprehensive palliative care services across multiple settings.
- Engage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in affiliation with the Division of Palliative Care at the University of British Columbia.
Qualifications
- One‑year enhanced skills residency and acquired the Certificate of Added Competence (CAC) through the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
- Two‑year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine.
- CCFP, CCFP (PC), CPSBC Full.

Compensation
Alternative Payment Plan, May be eligible for up to $10,000 relocation reimbursement, MOCAP – On Call Payments.
