Title:HR Business Partner

HR Business Partner
We are seeking an experiencedHR Business Partnerto join our Brampton‑based team and support multiple Canadian locations. Reporting to theVice President, Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will work closely with operational leaders to deliver timely, practical, and compliant HR support aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders and employees, providing guidance and expertise on policies, procedures, and employment practices
- Lead and manage employee relations matters including coaching, conflict resolution, investigations, corrective action, and terminations as required
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Canadian employment legislation and internal HR policies across supported locations
- Support and contribute to employee engagement, culture, and retention initiatives, including participation in surveys, focus groups, and action planning
- Coordinate and lead full‑cycle recruitment for assigned client groups; support workforce planning and hiring strategies
- Support health and safety initiatives in collaboration with operations, including participation in JHSC activities as required
- Support onboarding activities and respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, and HR programs
- Update job descriptions and participate in job evaluations and organizational structure reviews
- Support to the development of other HR team memebers
- Maintain accurate employee data and prepare regular HR metrics and reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
Your education, experience and skills:
- University degree/diploma in HR, in absence of degree/diploma, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- 5+years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Understanding and knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
- Strong understanding of Canadian employment legislation.
- Previous experience supporting multi-locations is preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of individuals both internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication, planning and presentation skills
- Strong sense of urgency and be able to manage multiple priorities
