Shift times: Usually Monday to Friday, with some Weekend / Evening Working (as required)
Permanent Salary: Up to £41,000 Dependant on Experience
Are you a dynamic and driven events professional ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for an exceptional Events Manager to join our vibrant team in Central London.
As part of our busy and fast-paced events portfolio, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and delivering high-impact events that support the growth and success of our organisation. Working closely with Business Development, GP Relationship Managers, and senior leaders, you’ll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences that strengthen our brand and deepen engagement.
In this exciting role, you’ll lead the GP marketing strategy for HCA UK’s GP engagement programme, ensuring all new events are seamlessly added to our events page and digital platform. You’ll also manage the creation and delivery of compelling GP marketing emails using our marketing software, helping us reach and inspire our audiences.
From concept to completion, you’ll oversee every detail of our events, ensuring flawless execution and unforgettable experiences. This role offers variety, creativity, and the chance to make a real impact.
Please note: This role will require flexibility, including evening and weekend work to support event delivery.

- You will take management and accountability for delivering the HCA UK GP engagement events (virtual programme) Attend weekly meetings with the Head of Events to plan upcoming events and regular meetings with hospital BDM teams to track progress of event's
- Secure speakers and manage communications to ensure they are well prepared for the events. Following up on all events with a post event survey.
- Engagement of Key Systems and Processes, submitting all events for CPD accreditation and ensure all documentation is submitted on time and certificates are send to GPs once approved.
- Work closely with the head of event and CRM and Analytics manager to monitor GPs referrals following all events.
- Working with our legal and finance team to set up new suppliers.
- Work directly with our in-house studio to create promotional collateral to include adverts, social, online, emails and brochures.
- Support with event planning and coordination of events including venue search, negotiation, travel and stock control.
- Act as a mentor to the Events Coordinator Mentor, ensuring they understand the systems and processes. Providing support, guidance and assist with day-to-day queries.
- Take accountability for event reports for CEO meetings and attend monthly CEO meetings within hospitals reporting on events delivered and planned for each month.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience of managing events within a large complex private healthcare organisation.
- Demonstrative experience working with a diverse range of clinical and non clinical professionals.
- The ability to build key strategic relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders.
- Able to think outside the box and communicate your thoughts, ideas, and visions to creative colleagues.
- Able to work at pace and the high degree of accuracy within a large and complex organisation.
- A flexible approach to working patterns to facilitate the delivery of HCAs Events schedule.
- Highly competent IT Skills
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with the ability to inspire and influence.

The Lister Fertility Clinic is one of the largest fertility centres in the UK. The clinic was established in 1988 and since that time has maintained its reputation as being one of the most successful IVF clinics in the country with nearly 20,000 'Lister' babies born.
The clinic prides itself on being able to assist couples whose treatment has been unsuccessful elsewhere and we operate a more flexible referral criteria in order to help couples with the more difficult fertility problems.
