A career as a Senior Analyst in the Financial Markets Operations – Securities Borrowing and Lending Settlement team means putting your expertise to work in executing and advancing our business strategy. Please note that this opportunity will allow you to work closely with our Front Office team and may eventually require relocation to New York.
Your role
- Settle securities lending and borrowing transactions on international and domestic markets for the Toronto and New York branches
- Process daily securities recalls and buy-ins
- Manage hedging risk by coordinating collateral exchanges with counterparties
- Oversee daily cash flows across various settlement platforms
- Tailor your approach to stakeholders’ needs to provide high-quality service
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new systems and processes
Your team
Your will be part of a team of 12 colleagues in the Transaction Settlement sector, and you will report to the Director, Securities Borrowing and Lending Settlement, Financial Markets Operations.

Prerequisites
- University degree (three years) or equivalent in a related field, plus a minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Experience in transaction settlements
- Knowledge of financial markets and products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of systems such as MAX, ISM, DTC, CDS, G1, Loanet, and Murex is desirable.
Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
