HR Systems & Payroll Operations Analyst (US & Canada, French and English)
About the role
TalentWorld is recruiting a Bilingual - French and English - HR Systems & Payroll Operations Analyst (US & Canada) for a fast-growing partner. This role plays a critical, hands-on role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient HR systems, payroll, and benefits operations across U.S. and Canadian entities in a dynamic, multi-site environment.
This individual will own cross-border payroll operations end-to-end and act as a key partner to HR leadership, finance, and systems teams. Hands-on cross-border payroll ownership is a core requirement for this role.
HR Systems & Payroll Operations Analyst (US & Canada) Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end U.S. and Canadian payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries, resolving issues directly
- Administer and optimize HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., UKG Ready/Pro, ADP, or similar), including time & attendance
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian payroll legislation, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
- Manage CNESST and Workers’ Compensation setup, administration, and reporting
- Maintain HR data integrity through audits, controls, and regular system reviews
- Support benefits administration, enrollments, and vendor coordination
- Partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, IT, and external vendors to improve workflows and system effectiveness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations, payroll processes, and system utilization
HR Systems & Payroll Operations Analyst (US & Canada) Qualifications
- Bilingual - French and English
- 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in HR operations, HRIS, and payroll
- Direct, end-to-end ownership of both U.S. and Canadian payroll (required)
- Hands-on experience with UKG Ready/Pro, ADP, or similar payroll platforms (required)
- Strong working knowledge of Canadian and U.S. payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting
- Experience with CNESST and Workers’ Compensation setup and administration
- Experience supporting employees directly with payroll and benefits inquiries
- Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a multi-site, fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Fluently bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
