JYSK is looking for an energetic and organized Store Supplies and Racking Coordinator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As our Store Supplies and Racking Coordinator , you'll play a key role in how thousands of customers discover and shop our products in-store. This role offers a chance to learn the business from the ground up while making a real impact.

You will be responsible for coordinating with established business partners in getting display racking that is used in our stores for product display. You will also be responsible for getting day to day supplies that our company needs to run smoothly.

This role is based out of our home office in Coquitlam, BC and our Distribution Center in Pitt Meadows, B.C.

Open availability is required including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a database ordering system with photo and article numbers for supplies and racking as well as all ordering information that is accessible to stores.
  • Create transfer orders for shipment of items in stock.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in our Distribution Centers and order as required.
  • Prepare periodic inventory audits to balance on hands both at Store and Distribution Centers.
  • Compile reports on store supplies and racking, inventory counts, stock records and location changes.
  • Be involved in all renovations and new store openings to create an accurate order for pieces supplied on blueprint.
  • Work in close partnership with colleagues to complete new store set-ups as well as store renovation projects from planning to completion.
  • Help facilitate fixtures orders for projects.
  • Advise the Visual and Concept Manager on deficiencies of processes and procedures that may affect productivity.
  • Responsible for ensuring all shipments are received according to company standards.
  • Ensure all outgoing product is to be properly documented and labeled according to company standards.
  • May be expected to count and sort incoming material to verify, quantity and sku of items being received.
  • Basic planogramming and space allocation for store visual standards.
  • Coordinate and update all Purchase Orders with accounting and Distribution Centers.
  • Source and present potential cost saving solutions on current programs
  • Moderate travel is required to stores and distribution centers for projects.

Compensation: Generally, the hiring range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 annually ; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years in a retail merchandising role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and database knowledge with the ability to create reports and analyze statistics (V-Look ups, Pivot Tables, Formulas, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Driver’s license and access to own vehicle
  • Is self-motivated, can work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational, verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates excellent teamwork, team-building, and project coordination skills
  • Is adaptable and able to work in an environment with changing priorities
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • Master multi-tasker
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
