What You’ll Be Contributing

Understand and interpret business processes and systems to identify solutions or opportunities for software application improvements;

Obtain new feature, improvement requests, change requirements from stakeholders using techniques such as document review, interviews, and work sessions;
-
Analyze and organize requirements, create high level information packages and validate documentation with stakeholders;
-
Ascertain the technical feasibility of a solution by presenting to software solutions team;
-
Liaise and enhance communications with stakeholders;
-
Document approved stakeholder requirements using defined templates for software development;
-
Clarify doubts and concerns regarding the solution to be developed;
-
Support UAT to ensure solution meets requirements;
-
Gain acceptance and approval of the deliverables from the stakeholders;
-
Review and analyze requests from the stakeholders;
-
Understanding and interpreting when the request is actionable versus retraining or user error.

Understanding the impact, changes required and estimate relative risk to the solution and/or customers services.

Conducting thorough analysis, documentation of requirements, changes, possibly replication patterns, impact of changes and risks to provide the team with full scope of the requested requirements;

Create or update final product documentation, including but not limited to user guides, coordinating development of training videos, quality software validation reports, and post-mortem analysis.
What Sets You Apart
- Demonstrated success with over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in software development.
- Analytical Excellence:
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Advanced proficiency in analyzing and optimizing workflow solutions.
- Visual Representation Skills:
- Experience in creating workflows (e.g. swimlane, process, state machine, rules driven).
- Documentation Expertise:
- Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements.
- Ability to produce comprehensive documentation, including Use Cases, Activity/Sequence diagrams, Process/Business Flow, and Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
- Tool Proficiency:
- Proficient in Jira and Confluence products by Atlassian, with the ability to leverage its features for effective workflow and project coordination.
- Proficient in developing visual representations of project requirements using tools such as Miro, Visio, UML Modeling, and Wireframing tools (e.g., Balsamiq).
- Working knowledge of PowerBI is an asset.
- Agile Collaboration:
- Strong organizational, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Work closely with Agile teams, embodying principles that foster collaborative and adaptive work environments.
- Autonomous and Self-Driven:
- Proven ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion.
- Innate self-driven motivation to achieve and exceed goals.
- Industry Knowledge:
- General knowledge of ERP, CRM, HRIS systems guidelines, and principles.
- Experience in logistics and supply chain is an asset.
