About the Role

Working within the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, this is a flexible position whose work schedule is variable and may include an irregular schedule of not less than three (3) hours per shift and up to thirty-fine (35) hours per week. Hours are expected to be sporadic as demand requires and employee availability allows.

Responsibilities

Program Coordination

  • Support the Operation team in coordinating activities required to deliver an effective and efficient program.

  • Support the Operations team to plan and manage events and workshops.

  • Physically help to set up the environment for events.

  • Act professionally and respectfully in all interactions with community members.

  • Capture lessons and areas for improvement in future programs.

  • Other duties as requested by the Executive Director, Director or Associate Director.

Qualifications

  • Current part-time or full-time MRU student or recent graduate

  • Experience with the Institute’s programs

  • Entrepreneurial and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working with digital tools (e.g., Google Suite, Qualtrics, social media)

Salary: $21.23 - $26.81 per hour
