Position Overview:

We’re seeking a driven, high-energy Account Manager to join our Waste and Metal Division. This is an exciting role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and isn’t afraid to hunt for new business.

The successful candidate will manage accounts within Eastern Ontario and Quebec regions, looking after metal recycling and waste management accounts, while identifying growth opportunities and driving sales performance.

Compensation & Incentives:

• Base salary: $50,000
• On-Target Earnings: $100,000 – $120,000
• Commission structure: 10% of net profit margin on all new accounts (first 6 months) and 5% of net profit margin on existing accounts (after 6 months)
• Car allowance: $650/month

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify leads using effective prospecting strategies, evaluating their interest level, budget, decision-making authority, and alignment with our services.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to share insights from outreach efforts, helping refine sales strategies and target customer profiles.
• Travel within the designated territory to meet with existing and potential clients in person.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all customer interactions, conversations, and progress in the CRM system (Salesforce).
• Keep an up-to-date log of all contacted leads to ensure proper follow-up and pipeline management.
• Conduct follow-up calls to clients to ensure satisfaction and strengthen relationships.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for both sales activities and results.
• Report directly to the Director of Sales, providing updates on performance, opportunities, and challenges.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience required
• Bilingual in French and English is required
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while consistently delivering excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Exceptional customer service skills and a client-focused mindset
• Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
