Position: Healthcare Security Guard - Full-Time - Providence Care Hospital
Site: Providence Care Hospital- 752 King St West
Hours: Continental Rotation - 0800-2000/2000-0800
Payrate: $22.61/hour
Overtime Method:Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional, visible, and alert security presence
- Greet, assist, and direct the public while ensuring safety of clients, staff, buildings, and assets
- Conduct proactive and reactive patrols (interior/exterior) and respond to emergencies
- Monitor CCTV, perform access/key control, and enforce hospital policies, parking, and smoking by-laws
- Carry out patient watches, investigate and document incidents, and complete shift/event reports
- Support monthly safety inspections and other assigned duties
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
- Ability to be clean shave for an N95 Mask Fit Test
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
- A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)

- Immunization Form: KHSC Immunization Forms
- Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
- Minimum 6 months of security experience (healthcare or non-healthcare preferred)
- Full-time availability with a 6-month commitment required
- Proficiency in English (oral & written); bilingualism (English/French) an asset
- 6+ months of customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe
