Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources Service Delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation and execution on complex Employee Relations (ER) matters, independently managing escalated cases from initiation through to resolution. You will play a critical role in mitigating risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive, productive work environment across the organization.
The Human Resources Service Delivery team focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality, and timely support across various HR functions to the entire Iron Mountain workforce.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will:
- Manage complex Tier 3 employee relations (ER) cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, policy breaches, performance management, driver standards, agency claims, unemployment matters, and terminations—assessing risk and escalating to Legal as needed while maintaining complete case documentation.
- Serve as escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 queries, providing expert guidance and ensuring timely, accurate resolution of advanced ER issues.
- Partner with internal and external legal advisors on ER reporting, case strategy, compliance, and risk assessment, ensuring alignment with legal requirements.
- Provide ongoing coaching, consultation, and feedback to people managers, supporting day-to-day employee issues and strengthening ER capability across the organization.
- Conduct employee and ethics line investigations, issuing termination documents where needed and processing unemployment-related actions.
- Review and improve ER processes and documentation, ensuring consistency across specialists and elevating needs for updates or creation of new procedures.
What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources (HR), with a deep, demonstrated functional knowledge and expertise in complex Employee Relations case management.
- Strong knowledge of labor and employment regulations as well as proven ability in exceptional conflict resolution, analysis, and problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis and provide sound decision-making in high-pressure situations.
- Bi-Lingual: English/French language proficiency is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).

Ce que vous apporterez Le Ou La Candidate Idéal(e) Possède
- Plus de 5 ans d’expérience progressive en ressources humaines, incluant une solide connaissance fonctionnelle et une expertise démontrée en gestion de dossiers complexes en relations avec les employés.
- Une forte connaissance des lois et règlements en droit du travail, ainsi qu’une capacité éprouvée à gérer des conflits, à analyser des situations complexes et à résoudre des problèmes grâce à l’analyse des causes profondes, tout en prenant des décisions éclairées dans des situations sous pression.
- Bilinguisme : maîtrise de l’anglais et du français (exigée).
