Position: Dermatologist

Type: Contract Compensation: $220–$250/hour Location: In-person (San Francisco) Commitment: Up to 10 hours/week Role Responsibilities

  • Review and label dermatology notes, imaging, biopsy reports, and EHR data. Identify diagnoses, findings, lesion characteristics, and treatment plans.
  • Audit annotations and verify AI-generated outputs for clinical accuracy and dermatologic relevance.
  • Provide guidance on annotation standards, taxonomy updates, and edge-case handling.
  • Evaluate AI-produced summaries, differential diagnoses, and recommendations. Flag inaccuracies and provide structured feedback.
  • Contribute to documentation standards and onboarding materials for new annotators.
  • Work independently with flexible hours to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications Must-Have

  • MD/DO specializing in Dermatology; board-certified or board-eligible.
  • Active medical license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in medical, surgical, or cosmetic dermatology.
  • Strong understanding of dermatologic conditions, dermoscopy, imaging workflows, and treatment guidelines.
  • Familiarity with dermatology EHRs, terminology (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED), and precise clinical documentation.

Preferred

  • Interest or experience in medical AI, data annotation, or informatics.
