As we continue to grow, Libro is on a mission to find a passionately accountable full-time Manager, Technology Risk Oversightsupporting our London Admin Office.

The Manager, Technology Risk Oversight is responsible for developing, implementing, and independently monitoring Libro’s IT Risk Management Framework, including the ownership of the IT Risk Management Corporate Policy and the support on associated Management Guidelines. This oversight role focuses on protecting Libro’s technology assets, systems, networks, data, and infrastructure, by ensuring IT risks are effectively identified, assessed, mitigated, and reported in alignment with Libro’s risk appetite, strategic objectives, and regulatory obligations.

The role also manages IT risk assessments for third-party service providers, actively participates in the Technology Risk Management Committee, and contributes to Business Continuity Management initiatives. This includes developing, maintaining, and testing Business Impact Analyses, Crisis Management Plans, and Disaster Recovery Plans.

The successful candidate will:

  • Oversee first line’s risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) of IT processes, systems, and applications to identify potential risks.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the first line to prepare and present IT risk reports to senior management, the Technology Risk Management Committee and other stakeholders.
  • Provide independent oversight of IT risk-related metrics, trends, and emerging risk exposures.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the IT Risk Management Corporate Policy and support the first line of defense in development and implementation of the associated Management Guidelines.
  • Ensure the organization has an adequate technology-specific framework for development and implementation of new products and initiatives that ties in with PRO’s overall methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Libro’s Business Continuity Management Team to ensure Libro’s IT BCM has a robust Business Impact Analysis, Crisis Management Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Oversee the IT security incident management response processes ensuring incidents are documented, investigated, and resolved, with lessons learned integrated into future prevention measures.
  • Collaborate with IT risk teams to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the first line in designing and delivering IT risk management training programs to increase organizational risk awareness.
  • Serve as an internal and external subject matter expert on IT risk management, providing advice and oversight on IT risk matters.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT risk management, governance, or compliance roles.
  • Strong understanding of IT security frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
