Role: Quantitative Developer with MATLAB & Global Asset Management experience
Location: Toronto, ON (4 days onsite/week) Duration: Fulltime Opportunity
Key Responsibilities
Build, deploy, and support production-grade quantitative models and portfolio optimization tools. Translate business requirements into technical solutions using software engineering best practices. Develop and maintain code with appropriate test automation, documentation, and peer review.
Required Skills & Experience
Expert in building production-ready quantitative models and optimization solutions
Python, MATLAB: Strong experience with pandas for data analysis
SQL: Proficient in constructing complex queries Financial Knowledge: Understanding of asset management and quantitative investing; proven experience with financial data and calculations Quantitative Skills: Demonstrated mathematical and statistical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
CFA designation Master of Mathematical Finance (MMF) Bachelor of Computer Science Experience with Databricks Team Context
