BGC Okanagan is hiring casual Early Childhood Educator Assistant for the Early Years program at our Lakers Club in Vernon, BC.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of programs and activities that are consistent with agency core values and core programming areas.

Ensure that programs develop, engage members, address healthy positive child development and provide members with a sense of belonging.

Provide a nurturing, fun and safe environment for children

Establish positive relationships and open communication with parents/guardians
-
Ensure that specific goals of the children and programs are met Attends to children’s physical needs, which may include diapering, toileting, eating and sleeping.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Assistant Certification is required
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
Successful completion of Agency screening process, including a criminal record check
Only qualified Early Childhood Educator Assistants with current certificate to practice in British Columbia will be considered.
Hours: On-call casual hours available, Monday to Friday
Rate of Pay: $21.22 per hour
