About the role
This is a temporary full-time assignment up to four (4) months.
Sinai Health System was created in January 2015 through the voluntary amalgamation of Mount Sinai Hospital (acute tertiary care) and Bridgepoint Active Healthcare (complex continuing and rehabilitation hospital). Circle of Care (multi service home support services agency) is an affiliate of Sinai Health System. The amalgamation also brought together the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute and the Bridgepoint Collaboratory for Research and Innovation. Sinai Health System is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and includes the Mount Sinai and Bridgepoint Family Health Teams. Sinai Health System’s bold, transformative vision is to advance an integrated health system that delivers acute care, primary care, community care, complex continuing care and rehabilitation, and home care.
Health Commons Solutions Lab, based at Sinai Health System, was launched in 2017 in partnership with the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network (now Ontario Health, Toronto Region), Ontario Ministry of Health, and other key local partners.
Health Commons is identifying creative solutions to complex problems that require focused collaboration from health and social sectors. We are a team of creative and driven professionals from health, social, public health and design sectors.
