About the role
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, horticulture, and landscape maintenance. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping tasks, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation and landscaping projects
- Operate weed whackers, lawnmowers and zero turn mowers
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, digging, edging, and other landscaping tasks
- Assist with construction projects such as retaining walls, pathways, or garden beds
- Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and troubleshooting is a plus
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such weed whackers, zero turn mowers
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair is desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver?s license is preferred for equipment operation or site travel purposes
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adhere to safety protocols
Pay: $17.20-$30.00 per hour
