The Opportunity The Sales Administrator is a key member of our team, acting as the centralized quotation department that supports our sales representatives with accurate pricing and proposals. This role suits someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a genuine interest in delivering an excellent customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Manage processes to ensure accurate product pricing at all times
- Design and administer pricing for stock inventory promotions, in collaboration with Sales Management
- Support pricing and proposal preparation for open houses, shows, and special events
- Produce accurate, timely priced proposals for the sales team as the centralized quote department
- Verify accurate costing of product arrivals, in collaboration with Accounting
- Administer pricing and listings for used machinery
- Verify pricing and margins on prospective deals and support price negotiations
- Maintain and update the company's CRM system
- Process sales orders with the sales team and dealer network, and coordinate with Accounting on deposits What You Bring
- 1–2 years of experience supporting a sales team
- Post-secondary education (Diploma or Bachelor's Degree), preferably in business or sales administration
- Strong mathematical skills and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or another CRM/ERP system is an asset
- Familiarity with Photoshop is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask under deadlines
- A detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough approach to work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, with strong follow-up skills
- A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for customer service Working Conditions
- Normal business hours, with occasional evening work as needed
- Office-based role requiring extended periods at a computer
- Ability to stay focused in a busy, open-area office and manage multiple deadlines
