WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Prepare and administer employee hiring, onboarding, and termination documentation in accordance with company policies and employment legislation
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate coordination, onboarding, and new hire orientations
- Administer payroll and time and attendance processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across all HR and payroll systems
- Prepare internal communications, announcements, and HR-related memos
- Support performance management processes, including the preparation and coordination of employee evaluations
- Assist with employee relations matters, including supporting disciplinary actions and investigations when required
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health benefits and RRSP plans, and respond to employee inquiries
- Act as the primary point of contact for Health & Safety, coordinating programs, documentation, training, and compliance efforts
- Manage WSIB administration, including claim reporting, employee communication, documentation, and ongoing case follow-up
- Produce HR reports and metrics as requested by management
- Support the planning and coordination of employee engagement activities and company events
- Provide general HR administrative and clerical support
- Act as a point of contact for employees, responding to HR-related questions and providing guidance on policies and procedures
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Minimum 2 years of Human Resource experience
- A creative mindset with keen attention to detail and consistency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Fluent in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong computer skills
- A self-motivated desire to produce valuable work
- An enthusiastic personality
- A collaborative and creative nature
- An attitude that is hardworking and eager to learn
- Ability to commute reliably to other company locations when necessary.

Over the years, Chervin has expanded to serve the GTA and the Muskoka region, and to build and/or acquire 4 sister companies (in addition to its founding company, Chervin Kitchen & Bath).
