Purpose of the job
Under the supervision of the IT Coordination Services Team Lead, the Access Management Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring user access rights to the various applications and infrastructures used by the company. In collaboration with specialized application teams, the incumbent designs, implements and maintains access control policies, manages user permissions, resolves access issues and contributes to the handling of security incidents. He.she ensures the protection of the company's data and information systems against any unauthorized access.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement access control policies and procedures;
- Manage user access rights and conduct regular audits to detect non-conformities;
- Resolve access issues and contribute to the management of security incidents;
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations;
- Validate access and ensure that the segregation of duties is respected;
- Participate in annual audits carried out by the company's auditors;
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve and maintain access management systems;
- Stay up to date on technologies and trends in access management;
- Provide training and coaching to employees regarding access management procedures;
- Ensure the traceability of the actions performed;
- Maintain an inventory of applications and tools requiring access management and work with business units and IT teams during onboarding, role changes and employee departures.
Your profile
- Expertise in access management and security: You master the principles of access management, IT security protocols and best practices in data protection.
- Rigor and compliance: You manage access rights, carry out regular audits and ensure compliance with regulations on the protection of personal information.
- Analysis and problem solving: You identify access issues, participate in the management of security incidents and propose sustainable solutions.
- Collaboration and coaching: You work closely with the IT and security teams and offer support and training to users in order to promote best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as an access management specialist or in a similar role in IT;
- Excellent understanding of access management principles, IT security protocols, and data protection requirements;
- Good knowledge of access management technologies and software solutions;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to handle confidential information;
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or a related field;
- Experience with on-premise and cloud environments; Microsoft Azure is an asset;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English (The person will have to exchange with suppliers outside of Canada);
- Experience in the retail sector (An asset).
