Job Description

As a Supply Chain Analyst at Silver Crystal, you will orchestrate the heart of our warehouse operations. You are a strategic thinker and a master of systems who will translate production demand into a clear, prioritized, and efficient plan for our warehouse teams. You will be analyzing information, scheduling the workflow, and providing detailed direction to the teams on the floor. Your ultimate goal is to understand how our systems and processes work in order to optimize and automate them, ensuring a seamless flow from inventory to production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning & Scheduling ️

  • Develop and manage the daily and weekly picking schedule for the warehouse team, prioritizing jobs based on production needs, client deadlines, and shipping schedules.
  • Analyze order volumes and inventory data to forecast workload and plan for resource allocation.
  • Create and distribute clear, detailed work plans and directions for the Picking, Receiving, and Warehouse teams.

2. Coordination & Communication ️

  • Act as the central communication hub, coordinating daily with the Warehouse Supervisor and Receiving Lead to align on priorities and resource allocation.
  • Proactively identify and communicate any potential risks, delays, or bottlenecks in the workflow to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Ensure the teams on the floor have the information they need to execute the plan efficiently and accurately.

3. Systems Analysis & Automation

  • Deeply learn and map the flow of information through our supply chain systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
  • Analyze current processes to identify key opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains, and automation.
  • Utilize your technical skills to extract and analyze data, build insightful reports, and support the development of automation tools and system integrations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, planning, or analyst role.
  • Proven experience with an ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), or similar supply chain software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a talent for seeing the bigger picture.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise direction.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).

Highly Desired (A Strong Plus):

  • A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with SQL for querying databases and performing complex data analysis.
  • Knowledge of a scripting language like Python for data manipulation and process automation.
  • A solid understanding of how APIs work and can be used to connect different software systems.
