Hiring Unit:
Department of Psychology
Position Summary:
- Screen participants to determine eligibility
- Schedule participants and communicate with research assistants and graduate students
- Conduct clinical interview sessions to verify participant eligibility
- Run participants through 3-hour psychophysiological study protocol, which includes collection of electromyographic activity data
- Oversee training and ongoing management of research assistant team
- Assist with extraction and processing of psychophysiological and self-report research data using software such as Mindware Analysis, Qualtrics, and SPSS
- Assist with preparation of research data for conference presentations and publications
- Submit ethics amendments and renewals
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
- Experience in a laboratory environment
- Experience with collection and analysis of psychophysiological data using Mindware Technologies hardware and software
- Experience working with people with eating disorders
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field; two years of experience in a laboratory environment
