Permanent Full-Time Administrative Assistant

The primary responsibilities include receptionist duties, dealing with students and parents, maintaining student and financial records, generating statistical reports, daily attendance, secretarial support and other duties as assigned.
A strong secretarial background with Microsoft Office, bookkeeping and internet usage is required. Experience with First Aid, PASI, PowerSchool, Acorn and SRB is considered an asset. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, can work independently and have the interpersonal skills to be able to interact with a variety of personalities. Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task would be an asset as there are frequent deadlines. Both oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
Qualifications:
- completion of a post-secondary program for administrative assistants
- 1 year of formal experience performing responsible clerical and secretarial work other combinations of education, training, and experience which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position may be considered
