About the role
A warehouse associate at Goldbelt Tire and Supply would be responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention
Warehouse associate duties and responsibilities
A warehouse associate at Goldbelt will be in constant motion, moving and transporting goods and materials all day long. They will sort and count materials going in or out of the warehouse. Some duties and responsibilities of a warehouse associate include:
- Operate mechanical lift, winch, or vehicles
- Load and unload materials
- Take inventory of products shipped or received
- Store, count, weigh, and open materials received
- Load and unload trucks, and other vehicles for transporting goods
- Fill warehouse orders
- Label boxes to identify materials
- Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
- Delivery products to customers
Warehouse associate skills and qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of technology and machinery used for transporting or storing materials
- Understanding of inventory
- Awareness of Public Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries
- Understanding of how to dispose of hazardous waste material in a safe manner
- Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory, and keep a record of storage
- Ability to work well with others
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
