Role - CDP ( Customer Data Platform) Lead Location - Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Experience - 10+ years Type - Full Time Permanent
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced CDP (Customer Data Platform) Lead to define and drive the strategy, design, and implementation of Customer Data Platform solutions. This role will provide technical and functional leadership in building unified customer profiles, enabling data-driven insights, and supporting personalized customer engagement across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define CDP architecture, strategy, and implementation roadmap
- Design and build unified customer data models and segmentation frameworks
- Lead integration of CDP with enterprise systems (CRM, OnBase, APIs, marketing platforms)
- Ensure data ingestion, transformation, identity resolution, and data quality management
- Enable real-time and batch data processing for customer insights and analytics
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver personalized customer engagement solutions
- Establish governance, privacy, and compliance standards for customer data
- Oversee data pipelines, APIs, and integration patterns supporting CDP
- Provide leadership to development teams and ensure adherence to best practices
- Monitor system performance, data accuracy, and optimization opportunities
- Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across business units
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data platforms, data engineering, or customer data solutions
- Strong expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and customer data architecture
- Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines
- Knowledge of customer data modeling, identity resolution, and segmentation
- Experience with API integrations and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance (GDPR, etc.)
- Experience working with analytics and marketing technology ecosystems
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in financial services or insurance domain
- Familiarity with leading CDP tools (e.g., Adobe RT-CDP, Salesforce CDP, Tealium)
- Knowledge of real-time streaming platforms (Kafka)
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven customer analytics and personalization
- Experience integrating CDP with Appian, OnBase, or API ecosystems
