About the role
Estimator – ICI Construction Hamilton, ON | $100K–$120K + benefits | Full-time, Permanent A reputable ICI contractor is seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction efforts on new build projects ranging from $5M to $100M. This is a full-time role with a growing firm that values precision, professionalism, and long-term team members.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and full estimates for ICI tenders
- Review drawings, specs, and tender requirements
- Coordinate and compare pricing from subtrades and suppliers
- Identify scope gaps and potential risks in bid packages
- Support bid closings and contribute to project handoff meetings
What You Bring
- 5+ years of estimating experience in ICI construction
- Strong knowledge of takeoff and pricing practices
- Familiarity with CCDC contracts and public-sector tendering
- Proficient with Excel and estimating software (Planswift, Procore Estimating, etc.)
- Diploma or degree in a construction-related field preferred
