About the Opportunity
A Calgary general contractor with a healthy pipeline of ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) work is hiring, and they're open on level. Come in as a Project Manager or a Senior Project Manager, depending on what you bring to the table.
They'd rather find the right person and build the title around them than force-fit a fixed job description.
Duties include but are not limited to
Lead assigned ICI projects from preconstruction through close-out Build, manage, and defend project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans Direct site teams, including Superintendents and Coordinators, toward successful delivery Own the client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships on your projects Draft and negotiate contracts, change orders, and subcontracts Spot and resolve risk before it derails the schedule or budget Report on project status and financial performance
About You
The successful candidate will have the following
5-10+ years of ICI project management experience; level is negotiable based on your background Demonstrated ownership of budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships Confident negotiator and communicator Construction Management, Engineering, or related credential Gold Seal certification is a plus, not a requirement
About the Job
This is a permanent position with a base salary in the $115,000 to $160,000 range, scaled to the level you come in at, plus benefits and real room to grow.
