About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. Through ongoing exploration success, Island Gold District’s Mineral Reserves and Resources have continued to grow in size and quality. Role Overview:
Reporting to the Health and Safety Training Coordinator, the Training Clerk will support training-related activities and assume responsibilities across various functional areas, including but not limited to, training data entry, Learning Management System (LMS) updates, employee electronic file management, training orientation coordination, document control, and responding to training requests.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Health and Safety Department through data management, filing, and scheduling. Specific duties include:

Entering and maintaining data within the Training Matrix

Managing training documentation and recording updates
-
Maintaining organized paper and electronic filing systems
-
Scheduling training sessions and other Health and Safety activities
-
Performing additional tasks as assigned
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma or certificate in Health and Safety or a related field

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines effectively

Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
-
Professional demeanor and effective interpersonal skills
-
High attention to detail and strong process management abilities
this role will follow a 4 days on, three day off schedule and be based at the Alamos Gold, Island Gold Complex. Travel to site is paid by the company.
