About the role
We are looking for a Machine Cleaner to join our Jokey North America team!
Jokey North America is a part of the Jokey Group. The Jokey Group consists of 14 production sites in 11 countries, employing over 2,500 employees and supplying customers in over 80 countries. We manufacture high quality injection moulded plastic buckets and lids for food and non-food items. Using monoplastics, we aim to decrease our environmental impact, and strengthen our contributions towards the development of a sustainable and circular economy.
Our office hours are 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. The Machine Cleaner position will follow the same schedule.
Position Responsibilities:
- Cleaning maintenance of oil, lubricant, and water spills in production area;
- Operating garbage compactor;
- Operating automatic floor scrubber;
- Cleaning inside and outside of production machines, robots, and conveyors, as per the cleaning schedule;
- Notify supervisor of completed machine cleaning;
- Maintain cleanliness of the general production area;
- Complete work orders through FIX;
- Ensure safe work practices at all times;
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong time management skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
