About the role
The Closing Shift Supervisor is an entry-level management position responsible for day-to-day supervision of all team members and successful closing of the restaurant. This position provides an opportunity for first time managers to gain managerial skills including time management & prioritization, floor leadership, exceptional guest service and complaint resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Closing of the restaurant, cleaning and setting up the morning team for success
- Day-to-day supervision of all Team Members on the floor
- Organizing each shift using proper positioning to best take advantage of team members strengths
- Setting shift goals and objectives that align with the priorities of the business
- Managing the flow of service throughout the shift
- Maintaining focus on hospitality, speed of service and order accuracy
- Ensuring all daily tasks and other assigned duties are completed
- Leading by example to ensure all team members work in a safe and productive manner
- Coaching and developing team members
- Completing daily logs
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation
- Resolving customer complaints effectively to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction

Availability:
- Must be able to work until 11:30pm or later if needed. Weekends will be required at times.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work, including transportation to locations with no public transportation
- Tim Hortons (or other quick service restaurant) experience is a strong asset
- First Aid / Food Safety / WHMIS training is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team under pressure
