Location: Edmonton Corporate Office
The Running Room Group of Companies is seeking an energetic and detail-driven individual to join our in-office team in a dual-role capacity: Race Coordinator and Customer Service Agent. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys engaging with customers, and has a passion for running culture and event logistics.

Key Responsibilities
Race Planning & Logistics
- Develop timelines, agendas, and logistics plans for races across Canada.
- Manage race budgets and coordinate vendors, permits, and product allocations.
- Partner with Buyers for participant gear and work with Marketing to enhance event visibility.
- Coordinate online registration setup and facilitate seamless communication with race partners and venues.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on registration status and event execution.
- Gather post-event feedback and incorporate improvements.
Customer Service
- Coordinate the online process for orders received through our e-commerce platform.
- Ensure orders are prioritized and fulfilled promptly using Running Room’s standards and methods.
- Provide professional communication via email, live chat, and phone to assist customers with product inquiries and purchasing decisions.
- Take ownership of customer complaints and resolve them using available systems and procedures.
- Maintain reasonable timelines to ensure excellent customer service.
- Contribute to feedback collection and continuous improvement of the customer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in event coordination, customer service, or retail operations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other planning tools.
- Flexible availability, including Saturdays and some holidays.
- French as a second language is an asset.
