HOURLY RATE- $23.27

Monday to Sunday: 9:00am to 8:00pm (4-5 shifts /week)

FULL-TIME HOURS:

  • Full-Time Hours: 4-5 Shifts per week

  • Shifts can run from 9:00am to 8:00pm with evenings and weekends required

WHAT****WILL I BE DOING?

The Supervisor is responsible for assist with the training content and day to day operational support of the summer Recreation Attractions which includes**Timber Challenge, Skywalk, Canopy Climb, Wind Rider Triple Zip, Rock Wall, Chutes& Loops, Millpond, and Lumber Lanes.**Additionally maintaining a high level of guest and employee experience. They will work in cooperation with departmental Assistant Managers and Team Leaders to ensure that the training content and standard operating procedure are both manageable for staff and are in accordance with the safety and service standard goals of these departments.

  • Working alongside staff in all areas of the operation

  • Setting clear expectations for staff, motivate, coach, & recognize great performance. Implementing new policies and procedures and ensuring compliance; provides staff with the tools that they require to complete the job and/or task expected of them.

  • Monitoring the delivery of products and ensure quality meets the standards set by the department and the company; Handle customer service shortfalls and service recovery in coordination with the Assistant Manager, Recreation Attractions

  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of Payroll

  • Assisting with on-boarding new employees, continuous training and evaluating performance; assisting with coordinating of staff to include hiring, scheduling, uniforms, rewards & recognitions, performance reviews and corrective coaching.

  • Preparing, executing and documenting a comprehensive training plan for the department. This includes all mandatory training as per the MOL; Coordination of accident/incident procedures along with documentation

  • Daily assessment of the operations to determine opening/closing times, delays of regularly scheduled operating hours etc.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • 2 years' of leadership experience

  • Labour cost control; consistently looking for efficiencies in our processes.

  • Coaching for performance. Exploring various approaches to motivate employees to maintain our service standards.

  • Service recovery. Listen and lead with empathy.

  • Guest and employee safety. Safety is our priority.

  • 3-5 years of previous experience working in a Summer-based Attractions/Recreation, specifically with Mountain Adventures Team.

  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather

  • This role is being posted to fill a vacant position
