Primary Objective Of The Position The successful applicant will develop load plans while ensuring the safe and efficient use of aircraft.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and safe load information is presented to flight crew.
  • Ensure maximum utilization of space on all flights.
  • Communicate all relevant load information to down line stations, Cargo Movement Control & management.
  • Audit all load information to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Compile all container and containerized and loose cargo information onto a load plan worksheet.
  • Planning of nightly warehouse breakdown.
  • Contact customers and retrieve information applicable to nightly volume.
  • Assembly of nightly shift package, which contains all pertinent information.
  • Advise customers of delays to applicable flights.
  • Assist Customer Service and the Station Manager as required.
  • Send detailed reports in regard to flight delays or other operational issues.
  • Will also be required to assist with breakdown and buildup of cargo.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Strong working knowledge of all MS Office applications and Kargomine/Sable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Dangerous Goods training required if selected.
