As a Senior Scheduler working in the Alternative Projects Centre of Expertise (APEX) team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a pivotal role driving collaboration as it relates to complex project designs. Supporting our large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will have the opportunity to provide guidance, support and assistance to ensure collaboration with our Project Managers and support consultants from concept through to construction.
What you will do:
Assist the project team through baseline schedule development and maintenance.
Collaborate to keep schedules up to date and accurate while prioritizing work assessment analysis.
Analyze schedule data and variances to identify and troubleshoot key project issues.
Lead and support the project team with client schedule related meetings.
Effectively apply project-specific safety standards to promote Pomerleau’s health, safety and environmental standards, applicable OH&S acts, and regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on the project.
This role could be for you if you have:
5-10+ years of hands-on scheduling/planning experience in the construction industry.
Completed a construction related certificate program, diploma or degree.
Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, quality and cost control.
A knack for having the ability to quickly identify schedule-related conflicts and possible causes, producing affective solutions, and collaboratively work with a large team to reach successful project completion.
Previous experience working with scheduling software including Primavera 6.
