About the Role

Riversol is looking for a curious, analytical Ecommerce Marketing Coordinator who is passionate about ecommerce growth, website optimization, SEO, and digital analytics. In this role, you’ll help improve every step of the customer journey - from how customers discover Riversol through search and AI-powered experiences, to how they navigate our website and ultimately become loyal customers. You’ll work across ecommerce merchandising, conversion rate optimization (CRO), SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), analytics, and digital experimentation to help drive sustainable growth. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems with data, loves digging into customer behavior, and gets excited about making small improvements that lead to meaningful business results.

What You’ll Do

Ecommerce & Website Optimization

Help manage and continuously improve the Riversol ecommerce experience on Shopify. Optimize product pages, collection pages, landing pages, navigation, search, and merchandising. Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys and reduce friction throughout the purchase funnel. Collaborate with designers and developers to implement website improvements. Ensure the website remains fast, accurate, and aligned with best practices.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

Analyze user behavior using GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, and customer feedback. Develop hypotheses and execute A/B tests to improve conversion rates and average order value. Monitor key ecommerce metrics including conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, checkout completion, bounce rate, and revenue per visitor. Recommend landing page improvements based on customer behaviour and data.

SEO & GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)

Support Riversol’s organic growth strategy across traditional search engines and emerging AI search experiences. Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, structured data, and technical SEO. Help improve Riversol’s visibility in AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews. Conduct keyword research and identify new content opportunities. Monitor search rankings, traffic, and emerging search trends.

Analytics & Insights

Build dashboards and reports that help teams understand website and marketing performance. Analyze customer behavior and identify actionable opportunities for growth. Monitor key business metrics and communicate insights to marketing leadership. Support attribution analysis and performance measurement across channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with paid media, lifecycle marketing, creative, product, and customer service teams to improve the overall customer experience. Help prioritize digital initiatives based on business impact. Stay current on ecommerce trends, Shopify capabilities, SEO best practices, AI search evolution, and digital analytics.

What You Bring

Must-Haves

2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, CRO, SEO, or web analytics. Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail. Experience working with Shopify or another ecommerce platform. Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio. Understanding of SEO fundamentals, technical SEO, and content optimization. Curiosity about AI-powered search and emerging digital marketing technologies. Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets to analyze performance data. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A mindset of continuous testing, learning, and optimization.

Bonus Points

Experience running A/B tests using tools like Intelligems, Convert, VWO, Optimizely, or similar. Experience with Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or other user behavior tools. Familiarity with Shopify themes, HTML/CSS, or Liquid. Experience with e-commerce merchandising. Experience working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Perplexity in a professional setting. Experience in DTC ecommerce, beauty, skincare, or health & wellness.

Compensation

Salary range: $50,000-$65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This role also includes a performance bonus component.

Location

This role is based at Riversol’s office at 1395 Boundary Road, Vancouver, BC. Some flexibility for hybrid work may be available after 6 months in the role.
