Position Summary
Bow Valley College is seeking a detail-oriented and student-focused Program Administrator – Health to join the School of Health and Wellness. This role provides comprehensive support for faculty, learners, and academic programs while serving as the primary contact for student inquiries and communications.
The Program Administrator plays a vital part in program delivery support by coordinating course and program setups, submitting accurate intake documentation in Unit4 and InfoSilem, supporting D2L content migration and access, tracking student enrolment and graduation information, and scheduling Work Integrated Learning activities. In addition, this position ensures smooth administrative and program operations by managing calendars, correspondence, background research, meeting agendas, minutes, and project coordination, as well as drafting communications and assisting with event logistics.
A key responsibility of this role is learner support, including responding to student inquiries, processing academic forms, providing troubleshooting assistance with online systems, maintaining accurate records in Unit4, and supporting program handbooks and learner communications. The Program Administrator also collaborates with support staff across business units, assists with departmental events, provides receptionist relief when needed, and contributes to cross-training and onboarding of new staff.
The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of related administrative experience, supported by a certificate in Office Administration or a related field (a diploma is preferred). Equivalent combinations of education and directly related experience will also be considered. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office and online learning platforms such as MS Teams, Unit4, and Brightspace D2L, along with proven experience in document preparation, file management, and customer service. This position is best suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced academic environment, is committed to supporting student success, and enjoys working collaboratively with faculty and staff.
If your education was received internationally we will require you provide an international education assessment through IQAS, WES, or one of the other nationally designated organizations upon hire.

This opening is a full-time temporary (AUPE) position, with an anticipated conclusion in June, 2026.
