About the role
Position Overview:
Realize Medical is seeking a Clinical Application Designer to define the feature specifications that shape Elucis. You will translate clinical and customer needs into detailed specifications that drive development, and maintain the System Requirements documentation that underpins regulatory compliance. The role spans both the analytical side of capturing software requirements and the creative side of designing how the application behaves.
Key Responsibilities: Define the functional behaviour and workflows of new and existing application features, working with Sales, Technical Support, Marketing, Product Development, Regulatory, and QA to translate user needs into structured software behaviour. Produce detailed feature specifications and requirements documentation that communicate intended functionality and implementation expectations to development teams. Maintain System Requirements documentation and requirements management processes. Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, testable, and aligned with regulatory processes. Observe clinicians using Elucis in practice and run usability and validation sessions with customers to ground design decisions in real clinical workflows. Contribute to the improvement of feature design and product development processes.
Qualifications: Experience in the following areas: Healthcare and medical technology VR and 3D visualization software Software application design, systems design, or related product development roles UX/UI design, including VR and spatial interaction Creating functional specifications or system requirements documentation Ability to analyze workflows and translate user needs into structured software behaviour Familiarity with software verification, validation, or test plan development Strong written communication and technical documentation skills
