About the role
Summary
Seeking a part-time cashier to work evenings and weekends. The Cashier will provide our customers with the highest level of customer service, and will be responsible for processing cash, credit or debit card transactions using an electronic scanner and cash register.
Job Duties
- Greets customers and provides excellent customer service.
- Operates cash register and process money and credit/debit payments.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Bag merchandise.
Requirements
- Good communication skills and ability to read and write in English.
- Customer service oriented and able to make good decisions.
- Experience with cash handling considered an asset.
- Need to be available to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions
- Lifting or moving up to 30 lbs may be required
